Hi all confused by what the eye test requirements are. I have a good eye that can read the bottom line on a Snellen chart while the other is pretty poor.does anyone know what lines I have to reach to pass, by the way I wear glasses at all times. Cheers.
The latest eyesight requirements expect you to read line 7 on a Snellen chart, (that’s 6/7.5), with your best eye, and top line, (that’s 6/60) with the worst eye, with glasses if required.
The doctor or optician has to test your vision without glasses as well, but the result is not important.

The eyesight standards also depend on when you gained your licence, there are lesser standards on your worse eye without the need to wear glasses.
