my daughter taken into hospital this morning at 4am,her first baby due.i got to work,havn’t got my usual run as i’m on the annual driver assessment today,followed ba a grueller of a day…but anyway no unit was available so a lot of fannying about before i could get started 
mentioned to the TM i could do without this as my daughter in maternity ward…he said ‘go home you’re on compassionate leave’ 
makes a change from 1 or 2 of my previous firms that couldn’t give a toss about you or your family!
