Loss of licence

My mate who has just been treated for a blackout ,but hospital aint sure what caused it, has to do some more tests, was told licence could be revoked. Is it the hospital that informs DVLA, or does he have to do it ,and is it ,if he fails the tests,an immediate revokation of licence.

My Dr informed the DVLA when it happened to me ( still does at times ) took a while to get back & had a load of test to do as my own GP said no stone left unturned

It is all documented in here somewhere was a few years ago mind but you can look it all up

There may be a number of reasons for it

But yep the whole licence was revoked so coauldnt drive at all until it was all sorted sorry

If your doctor has advised you not to drive ,you are legaly requerd to inform dvla

I had heart attack in 98 had 3 stents fitted and kept my licence .It can be a battle with dvla ! but a battle you can win …
