how old are you
57 in Jan
I am not a doctor but will half an aspirin daily help out.
I sent the form off as per requested
had a letter this week saying there going to write
to my consultant but I can drive until such time they say I cant.
Meantime the docs kept me on the sick for another 28 days
anyways I am on agency so not much work anyhow,
talking of which agency wont process sick pay
I have to do it through Job Centre

Sorry to say this but you probally already know. But dvla will revoke licence as its progressive. That said has it affected your walking in anyway yet.

Take my advice or leave it but i would do the following in order.
- Claim dla/pip even if you only get low award once you are on it. It will only increase as what you got is progressive also it is indefinate award and that is thier guidelines.
- If you get awarded dla/pip at middle or high care get someone to claim carers allowance.
3.As soon as sick pay finishes or before claim esa not unemployment or income support. - If you private rent or council/housing tennant claim housing/council tax.
Only know this cos i got 2 disabled sons. Can put a link up for DWP medical az conditions which gives a breakdown of what parkinsons disease suffers should get.

You should also seek help from your local WRO (welfare rights officer) not the citizens advice beureau, if their is a local parkinsons support group they will know where to contact them, when they come out to you they will help fill all forms out on your behalf.
